Urethane recess members
Recess former members are special lifting accessories which used together with erection anchors and lifting clutch. The Urethane recess members form a durable and protective barrier between the precast concrete and other materials, preventing them from coming into direct contact. It also provide insulation to help regulate temperatures and reduce noise levels. Urethane recess members are available in many sizes and styles to accommodate different concrete structures and applications. They are lightweight, easy to install and provide superior protection for your concrete structure. Urethane Recess Members can also be used in combination with other materials such as steel, wood or even fiberglass to create a more durable and protective seal. They are needed to create a hole in the concrete element, when lifting stud is mounted to the concrete. After concrete is stable, recess former is recess fromers are made from rubber. Each size has a different colour, which makes identification of load class easier. Replacement is required if the Recess Former r is damaged or deformed. Nailing is not recommended. Use of the Holding Rod is the preferred method to secure tightly against the form.
Yellow Recess is used for 2 Ton to 3 Ton Anchors. Orange recess is use for 4-6T anchors, green is use for 8-12T anchors. Reusable & highly durable but replacement is required if damaged or deformed.
